Ages 4-8 | 6-year-old Manny is bursting with excitement at the thought of preparing a welcome home dinner for his dad with his mum and granny. But when his mum goes to get a missing ingredient a minor mishap risks putting the whole meal on the line. Manny will have to be resourceful and take on the challenge to put things right with the help of Mighty Mujer – and the audience!

Súper Chefs Workshop | Ages 4-12 | Where is my food coming from? An environmental impact workshop to learn about the carbon footprint of key ingredients of our cuisines. Using Latin American cuisine as inspiration, participants will learn the environmental impact of producing and transporting avocados and options to reduce the carbon footprint with a how-to kit to grow avocado seeds into a plant at home.

Súper Chefs Workshop | Ages 4-12 | Food tasting and cultural cuisine exchange. We will invite local residents to create an interactive area where attendees can see, touch, and smell common spices and ingredients from Latin America, Somalia and Bangladesh/South Asia. Attendees will learn and experience Somali, South Asian, and Latin American cooking, ingredients and their origins.
